A Night at the Soul Lounge

A Night at the Soul Lounge is a monthly cultural experience that has played a major role in activating Lansing’s nightlife and creating consistent spaces for music, culture, and connection. Since launching in 2023, the series has grown into the largest recurring event series in Mid Michigan, with events consistently selling out and drawing audiences from across the region.

Each Soul Lounge is thoughtfully curated, featuring rotating guest DJs, live performances, themed parties, local vendors, giveaways, and interactive elements that keep the experience fresh and engaging. By centering community, creativity, and high-quality production, A Night at the Soul Lounge supports local artists and small businesses while contributing to a vibrant and thriving nightlife economy in Lansing.

Our mission

A Night at the Soul Lounge was created to be more than a night out. Rooted in Ourspace Foundation’s mission, the series exists to foster connection, celebrate culture, and create inclusive spaces where people feel welcomed, inspired, and seen. Each event is intentionally designed to uplift artists, support local vendors, and activate nightlife spaces in ways that are culturally affirming and community-centered.
